Hello! I’m a classically trained opera singer but that’s not all I do! I have been teaching voice and beginning piano full time since 2020. I have two performance degrees and want everyone to have a good time. I believe that music is for all. Some people just want to have fun and be challenged, or feel more comfortable in a one on one setting. I work to make sure that my students are comfortable and progressing as musicians at a pace that they are comfortable with. I think that it’s never too late to learn and I continue to look for ways to further my learning as well. Most recently, I took an 8 week course for Gender Affirming Voice Lessons. Before moving to Milwaukee, I worked in Chicago. I am an active performer and I continue to drive back and forth to Chicago for gigs, and have been asked to cover the roll of Jezibaba in Milwaukee Opera Theatre’s “Rusalka” in Feb 2025.

Hello! I am Mary Kepplinger and I’d love to teach you or your child. I’m in my last semester at Carroll University getting my bachelor’s degree in Music Performance and Musical Theatre. I’ve been studying privately for over a decade and have a deep passion for music.

Getting bachelor’s degree in Music Performance and Musical Theatre.

I have been teaching dance at 5,6,7,8 Dance! Studio since 2023 and adore working with all different age groups. I also have experience tutoring music theory and sight singing at a collegiate level.

Bio

I have a B.A. in Music from Carroll College in Waukesha WI. I have been teaching private voice and piano lessons, off and on, since 2004. I have also been singing in groups and on stage since my early teens. My goal is help students learn and appreciate music. I enjoy teaching (and learning about) all genres of music and I want to be able to bring that to my studio. When I’m not teaching, I am a real estate agent as my full-time career. I am a wife and mom of two daughters, as well as a dog and cat mom. I love spending time with family, cooking and eating, reading, art, and horseback riding.
