Bio
Teaching Methods & Musical Styles/Genres Taught: I teach using a mix of traditional methods that are effective and modern approaches to further the student’s learning. I have taught band methods, band literature, orchestral excerpts/parts, and have experience in teaching students the basics of playing jazz styles. Expectations of Students: I expect student to be prepared, have an open mind to new ideas, and have fun learning the trumpet and how to play it. I do not expect perfection, but rather positive progress and new ideas learned with each lesson. What I want my students to know: Everyone starts in different places of life, and that’s okay. With hard work, passion, and positivity, you can achieve be where you want to be.
