Bio
My experience with the piano began early at about the age of 6 1/2 when I started lessons with my first piano teacher. From the very first week I loved to practice, and piano practice was to become a significant part of my life throughout the following years. It was during these early years as a student of piano that I was introduced to the Piano Guild, and this became a hallmark of my experience as it was such an opportunity for growth and motivation. I participated in Piano Guild as a student for several years then and thoroughly enjoyed learning the music and preparing National programs. After a family move necessitated a change in teachers, I continued my piano studies through the high school years and early college. While I’ve taken limited college coursework pertaining to music, I continue to expand upon my existing knowledge through personal research and ongoing study.
